The Tha Kha Floating Market is open only on the 2nd, 7th, and 12th days in a month according to the lunar calendar. The market is also open on every weekend from 6am to noon. Most of the vendors of this market sell vegetables, fruits and other food and spices from their boats. So if you want to buy something, you will have to take a boat from the rental services and travel to the market.
There is an old temple nearby called the Wat Khao Yee San, which is believed to have been made in the Ayutthaya period. The temple attracts a lot of locals as well as visitors from outside the country because it is shaped like a boat and is situated on the top of a mountain. It is a highly religious place for the people of Thailand because it enshrines 4 footprints of Lord Buddha. Another interesting place is the King Rama II Memorial Park, which consists of 4 buildings made in the perfect Thai architecture.
