Hua Hin-Cha Am Hotels
Hua Hin
The twin resorts of Hua Hin and Cha Am are located at a distance of about 170 kilometres from the capital city of Bangkok. Hua Hin is a 70 years old resort frequented by the Thai Royal family and therefore, exudes an air of aristocracy about it.
A busy resort, Hua Hin offers several golden sand beaches that have the highest density of international golf courses anywhere in Thailand. Even today, Hua Hin is mainly an undiscovered world- class golf destination offering great services at costs which are amongst the lowest in the world.
The landmark Klai Kang Won Place (meaning far from worries), is the summer residence of the King of Thailand located adjoining to the 5 kilometre long Hua Hin beach. Other attractions include the very popular night market, chic shops, boutiques, craft shops, fishing piers, and many fine dining Thai restaurants.
The beaches lie in the north and south direction and the more popular beaches are Khao Takiab (Chopsticks Hill) and Takiab Bay (Chopsticks Bay). The renowned River Kwai is also just 3 hours from Hua Hin, while the Sam Roi Yot (300 Peaks) National Park lies 30 minutes to the south of the resort town.
Cha Am
Cha Am is just 20 km north of Hua Hin. Cha Am boasts of the longest white sand beach in all of Thailand and is a popular weekend resort, busiest during the holidays and quietest on weekdays. There are plenty of accommodation options including popular resorts and hotels.
